John & Catherine Law wanted a light, airy and energy efficient home. A balcony links the main living space with a gallery area inside. Ther's also a sauna, plus hot tubs outdoors.

The result is Giorra, a new two-storey, three-bedroomed home set into the base of a spectacular wooded and rocky cliff just off sixteenth-century Castle Menzies, near Aberfeldy in Perthshire.
